The "Child-Friendly City," which can be one of the key topics in the broader discourse of the "right to the city," was introduced in 1996 and has recently been seriously discussed by experts. The child-friendly city is a scientific and social concept that, like any other scientific topic, can encompass different approaches. This article is based on the hypothesis of Henri Lefebvre, a French philosopher, and sociologist, who rightly considers the right to the city - beyond gender, ethnicity, age, etc. - as a human right and based on primary human needs, contrary to others who consider it a civil right. The author in this article attempts to address the religious foundations of a child-friendly city by explaining the importance of children in religious teachings using the method of analysis of foundations and epistemology. In this regard, two important approaches to the relationship between the city and children are mentioned, and briefly, the harms of the physically- centered approach, which gives primacy to the city, are discussed.
