Human perception of phenomena begins through the senses, with auditory and visual faculties playing the most significant roles. This study focuses on the auditory sense, specifically music, which has a unique capability to convey meaning and influence human cognition without being easily regulated or controlled. Music naturally integrates into human attention processes, shaping thoughts and behaviors. Since hearing is a direct channel to human intellect and emotions, controlled musical exposure—grounded in a theoretical and logical framework—can enhance motivation, guide individuals toward goals, and accelerate achievement. Conversely, uncontrolled exposure to accumulated auditory stimuli can influence traits, alter behaviors, or even block critical thinking.
Given its strong impact, music requires strategic management in society, necessitating skilled oversight by cultural authorities. This study employs both library research and field observations, including participation in concerts, real-time event monitoring, and post-event interviews. The findings confirm that auditory perception is the most receptive sensory channel for influence, shaping human emotions, traits, and ethics based on lived experiences, intentionality, emotional structure, and the context of musical performance. Proper music management can extend from individual citizenship traits to urban identity, significantly affecting social identity.
